14-Year-Old Jewish Girl Goes Missing in Toronto

Toronto Police and volunteers search for missing 14-year-old Esther (Esti), last seen May 15 near Earl Bales Park in North York.

Toronto Police are actively searching for 14-year-old Esther, also known as Esti, who has been missing since late Friday evening (May 15, 2026).

She was last seen around 11:30 p.m. near a community centre in the Earl Bales Park area at Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West in North York. She was heading in a northeasterly direction.

Description:

Police have set up a command post and are using drones, a marine unit, mounted officers, and ground search teams due to the large wooded park and the nearby West Don River. The Jewish community has mobilized volunteers, including Shomrim and Misaskim, to assist in the search.
