Two doctors at a Sydney hospital have been suspended after a video surfaced showing them making violent threats against Jewish patients, prompting a police investigation, officials confirmed on Wednesday.
The video, originally shared by TikTok user Max Veifer, an Israeli social media figure, shows him conversing with a man and woman wearing medical scrubs. After Veifer mentioned his Israeli background, the male nurse responded, “I’m so upset that you’re Israeli … eventually, you’re going to get killed and go to (hell).” The female nurse added, “It’s Palestine’s country, not your country,” using an expletive, and went on to say she would refuse to treat Jewish patients and instead harm them.
