Israeli security forces are responding to a reported stabbing attack at 'Chavat Maoz' near the village of Otzrin in the Samaria Brigade sector of the West Bank.
According to an initial report by Eliyah Aviv, the assailant arrived in an unmarked civilian vehicle and stabbed one of the residents who approached to question him.
Hatzalah Without Borders, Judea and Samaria, said that the victim was stabbed several times by the terrorist until the knife broke, after which the terrorist fled in a vehicle.
Magen David Adom says that the man is in moderate to serious condition and was set to be evacuated by helicopter to hospital, according to Army Radio's Doron Kadosh.
Forces joined the manhunt for the attacker, among them the Duvdevan unit, the Nahal reconnaissance unit and combat intelligence collection troops.
A closure was imposed on Shechem (Nablus).
