CENTCOM denies Iranian claims of sea mines in Strait of Hormuz

U.S. Central Command has rejected Iranian media reports claiming commercial vessels are striking sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz, calling the claims false. CENTCOM stated that all internationally recognized primary transit routes through the strait have been cleared of sea mines by U.S. forces and remain clear. Thousands of commercial vessels have safely used the transit lanes and continue to do so.
