DJ Skazi and Wife Welcome Third Child after Year of Drama

Israeli DJ and producer Asher Swissa, known internationally as Skazi, and his wife Shir became parents for the third time on Sunday, the couple announced.

The simcha comes at the end of a turbulent year for the electronic music artist, who faced both personal danger and professional setbacks in recent months. Skazi recently survived a frightening incident when the plane carrying him to a performance in Mykonos suffered a serious malfunction in its front landing gear, forcing an emergency landing in Athens after six hours circling in the air.

Skazi, considered one of Israel's most successful acts on the global electronic music scene, is known for high-energy performances worldwide. This past year, he was forced to cancel his appearance at Belgium's Tomorrowland festival following political pressure, an incident that drew a sharp response from President Yitzchak Herzog, who called it "antisemitism pure and simple."

Alongside his international career, Skazi made headlines for an unexpected collaboration with Iranian artists, releasing the track "Hero" together with Iranian DJ duo Vessbroz, who left Iran and now live in the Netherlands.

Further details about the birth have not been released, but the happy news has already drawn a wave of congratulations and well-wishes from the musician's many fans.
