Elbit Moves Annual Vacation for 22,500 Employees From Abroad to Eilat

Elbit Systems is holding its annual company vacation in Eilat this year instead of overseas, sending 22,500 employees to the Red Sea city because of the war. The move is reported to cost between NIS 150 million and NIS 200 million. Employees who drove to Eilat in their own cars received NIS 600 to spend in the city. Elbit said the decision was meant to strengthen employees’ and their families’ solidarity with Israeli society and the state. The company is also hosting the families of wounded IDF soldiers during the vacation weeks.
