Herzog urges party leaders to find creative solutions to avoid another election

President Herzog addressed political party representatives ahead of consultations at the President's Residence this week, calling on them to "come prepared to find creative solutions to prevent another election." He stated that while candidates "climb up tall trees and take uncompromising positions" during campaigns, the elections are now over and the results are an established fact. "Now is the time to tell all the leaders: Stop climbing trees and face this reality," Herzog said, adding that the consultations will attempt to "provide ladders to help the leaders climb down from their positions and face this reality in a measured and cautious manner."
