IDF Captain Shachar Gimla killed in Lebanon combat

Captain Shachar Gimla, 24, an officer in the Egoz Reconnaissance Unit from Natur, has died from wounds sustained in battle in Lebanon. He was severely wounded during fighting on the night between Thursday and Friday and succumbed to his injuries this morning. Gimla's family chose to donate his organs. The funeral will take place tomorrow in Moshav Keshet in the Golan, with details to be published later.
