Israeli forces operating south of the Litani River have uncovered weapons caches, rocket launchers, and terror infrastructure despite ongoing ceasefire negotiations
The IDF has released documentation from recent operations in southern Lebanon, revealing the discovery of extensive Hezbollah infrastructure. Soldiers have located weapons storage facilities containing missiles and rockets, along with personal combat equipment and various military assets belonging to the Iranian-backed organization.
According to military sources, combat teams from the 769th, 4th, and 55th brigades are operating under Division 91 command in the southern Lebanon security zone. Their mission focuses on clearing the area of terror infrastructure and destroying combat equipment.
Forces have discovered and seized significant quantities of weaponry, including guided anti-tank missiles, rocket launchers, launch platforms, grenades, explosive devices, Kalashnikov rifles, tactical vests, uniforms, and helmets.
Israeli security officials stated that the military will not permit Hezbollah to threaten Israeli civilians or military forces. The IDF emphasized its commitment to removing threats while maintaining adherence to ceasefire agreement terms.
