Israeli pop star Noa Kirel has previously spoken about her partner Daniel Peretz's growing connection to Jewish observance.
Now, as the High Holidays approach, she's opening up about how the couple plans to mark Rosh Hashanah. In a recent interview, Kirel discussed where they'll spend the Jewish New Year and whether they've adopted any particular customs during this period of reflection and repentance known in Hebrew as the "month of mercy".
When asked whether she and Peretz, a professional soccer goalkeeper, plan to take on any specific religious observances for Rosh Hashanah, given his increasing engagement with Jewish tradition, Kirel acknowledged the couple hasn't made concrete plans.
"We haven't even talked about it yet", she said. Still, she's confident the holiday will hold significance for them: "On Rosh Hashanah we'll be together, G-d willing, and I'm sure we'll do all kinds of things".
