U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has issued administrative detainers against two women charged in connection with a fatal parking lot collision in Jackson, New Jersey, that claimed the life of nine-month-old Yitzchak Rosenberg last Friday. The federal action follows revelations that both suspects are foreign nationals residing in the United States without legal authorization.
According to Ocean County jail records, Maria Cobon-Gusman, 20, of Trenton, the alleged driver of the vehicle that struck the victims, is a Guatemalan citizen unlawfully present in the country. A separate immigration detainer has also been filed against Ariadna Lazaro-Flores, 22, of Toms River, a Mexican national who owns the vehicle involved in the crash.
