In a dramatic and emotional audio recording released in the past hour among thousands of Vizhnitz chassidim in Eretz Yisrael, the voice of the Vizhnitzer Rebbe shlita was heard from his current location in Moshav Ora, addressing his chassidim and all of Klal Yisrael with a heartfelt and urgent plea ahead of the approaching election day.
The full text of the Rebbe's message:
"This is Y. HaGaon from Vizhnitz speaking.
Dear Yidden, we are now facing the elections taking place in the coming days, and each and every person must know the difficult situation that chareidi Jewry is going through. I cannot speak at length, I don't feel so well healthwise... If I had the strength to speak, I would go around and shout everywhere about the importance of what chareidi Jewry does for Yiddishkeit. Unfortunately it is not easy for me, the reality does not allow me to express everything I would want to express, but I have no rest from the difficult situation. Therefore I am calling out from here, from the place where I am now: each and every person should know that we have a great obligation to vote for the Agudas Yisrael list, the letter gimmel, to act and activate for the sake of Kavod Shamayim.
And whoever hears my words and acts for the sake of His blessed Name, I bless him that he should merit nachas from his children with peace of mind, without any sorrow or anguish."
