IDF eliminates five Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists in southern Gaza Strip

The IDF struck targets in southern Gaza earlier this week, killing five terrorists from Hamas and Islamic Jihad. On Sunday, three Islamic Jihad operatives were eliminated in Khan Younis while meeting to plan attacks against IDF troops: Muhammad Abu Hajjaj (engineering operative), Yousef Abu Razak (deputy squad commander), and Abdelhamid Jadallah (rocket array operative). On Monday, two Hamas Nukhba terrorists from the Rafah Brigade were killed: Salah al-Din Iyad Abd al-Hamid and Izz al-Din Iyad Diab Barhoum. The IDF stated the terrorists were advancing attacks against Israeli troops and civilians and working to restore Hamas and Islamic Jihad military capabilities in violation of the ceasefire. Aerial strikes used precise munitions with steps taken to mitigate civilian harm.
