International tensions continue to escalate as Tehran and Washington send conflicting messages mixing military threats with optimistic assessments toward ending the conflict. While Iran declares readiness for full military confrontation, US President Donald Trump projects confidence that the crisis will end soon.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated in an interview with the Qatari channel Al-Araby that Tehran is working on preparing an official response to the United States. According to him, Iran's answer will be conveyed through mediating countries immediately upon completion of a series of internal consultations currently being held at the political level.
The Iranian official attacked the Washington administration and claimed that the United States violated its commitments under the memorandum of understanding signed in Islamabad, and is now required to act to correct the violations. "In a situation where Tehran believes that the United States has not fulfilled all of its commitments, one cannot expect Iran to show greater flexibility," Gharibabadi conveyed.
