Iranian official says US must provide guarantees to rebuild trust

Iranian official Ebrahim Azizi stated that the United States must provide guarantees and rebuild trust. "The Americans are the ones who need to provide guarantees. They are the ones who need to build trust and prepare to provide reliable, implementable and irrevocable guarantees," Azizi said. He added that Iran needs assurance the US will not return to past policies, and that signing guarantees must not further damage American credibility.
