Iranian President proposes closing public facilities to redirect energy to factories amid crisis
Iranian President Pezeshkian proposed shutting down conference halls, swimming pools, and other high-energy facilities to redirect electricity and gas to industrial plants. The measure aims to keep factories operational and prevent layoffs during Iran's ongoing energy crisis. "If necessary, I will even cut off the electricity in my room, but I will not allow factories and industrial activity in the country to be shut down," Pezeshkian stated.
