Israel-Lebanon talks in Florida end without agreement, U.S. source says

Negotiations between Israel and Lebanon held in Tampa, Florida, concluded without a breakthrough, a U.S. source told Al Hadath. Israel criticized the Lebanese army for "failing" to disarm Hezbollah, while Lebanon turned down an Israeli proposal regarding participation in a mechanism to monitor Hezbollah's disarmament. The parties also failed to reach consensus on which countries would supervise security arrangements in southern Lebanon. No follow-up meeting has been scheduled.
