The Israeli Air Force conducted a large-scale strike deep inside the Gaza Strip, targeting an improvised police headquarters operated by Hamas in central Gaza City. According to reports from the ground, at least nine people were killed in the precision airstrike, including a minimum of two senior figures within Hamas's governance structures. Unusually, one of those killed was a high-ranking woman within the organization.

According to field reports, Israeli aircraft launched precision missiles at the makeshift Hamas police headquarters located in the heart of Gaza City. The strike, described as unusually extensive, resulted in multiple casualties among the terror organization's enforcement mechanisms. Among those killed was Faten al-Sahar, who headed Hamas's women's police force, a rare instance of a senior female figure in the organization being targeted and eliminated in such an operation.

Two other senior figures were also killed in the strike: Ibrahim Tamraz, a Hamas operative and former prisoner who had been released in a hostage exchange deal, and Othman Abu Samaan, also known as Abu Bilal, who was involved in the organization's internal enforcement apparatus.
