Israeli prosecutors on Friday filed an indictment at the Central District Court against an Israeli citizen on national security charges. The court granted a request from security officials and imposed severe restrictions on what details of the case may be published.
According to the limited paraphrase the court permitted media outlets to report, the Israeli national was arrested for joint questioning by the Shin Bet security service and police following suspicions of involvement in security offenses.

Authorities said that after completing their investigation, prosecutors decided to file charges and simultaneously requested that the court order the suspect held in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.

The indictment was filed by the Central District Prosecutor's Office to the Central District Court.
