In a video statement, Ben-Gvir said: "Welcome, Knesset member Tally Gotliv. Tally, you are joining a family of fighters, the Otzma Yehudit family."

The minister praised her political record: "We know and have seen that you are a real fighter. A fighter against injustice. A fighter for justice. A fighter against the deep state. A fighter against those who persecuted our dear prime minister." He concluded: "Tally, we are proud of you. We embrace you. We are happy you are coming --- welcome!"

According to the Likud announcement, the agreement allows Gotliv to run in the next Knesset elections on the Otzma Yehudit slate without being declared a defector from Likud. However, the arrangement stipulates that "as part of the agreement, she is committed to being subject to Likud party voting discipline until the 26th Knesset." The party statement concluded by wishing Gotliv success.
