Tragedy in Kafr Qara

Girl, 7, Killed in Tractor Accident

Emergency responders performed CPR on the critically injured child before transporting her to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.

MADA ambulance on the scene

A seven-year-old girl died Thursday evening after being struck by a tractor in Kafr Qara, an Arab town in northern Israel. The child was initially brought to a local clinic in critical condition before emergency medical teams arrived on scene.

Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's national emergency medical service, dispatched paramedics and EMTs to the clinic at 9:38 p.m. They immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts and transported the girl to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera while continuing CPR. She suffered severe injuries to her chest and head. Despite the lifesaving attempts, medical staff at the hospital later pronounced her dead. Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.

MDA motorcycle unit EMT Rawaid Arbasi and paramedic Khaled Murei described the scene: "When we arrived, the girl was lying in the local clinic unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing after being struck by a tractor. We immediately began advanced resuscitation procedures including chest compressions, ventilation, and medication administration, and evacuated her in an intensive care ambulance to the hospital while continuing CPR, in critical condition."
