Initial investigation by troops indicates the excavation has no exit point, and the probe is ongoing by specialist units. According to the IDF spokesperson, the shaft is approximately 15 meters deep and about 75 centimeters wide. An electronic device was also found inside the excavation and transferred for further investigation by security forces. The shaft is located within the city of Hebron itself, with no proximity to any Israeli community.
