Israeli Defense Minister warns Iran could attack to influence elections, vows strong retaliation

Defense Minister Israel Katz stated at an officers' course graduation that Israel has detected attempts by Iran and its proxies to carry out attacks aimed at influencing Israel's election results. Katz said the Iranian regime is at its weakest point but warned this weakness could drive it to extreme measures against Israel. "We see your attempts, we are prepared to thwart them, and we are ready to strike you with full force," Katz said, adding: "If Iran attacks Israel—Iran will burn!"
