Israeli electronic music artist Skazi (Asher Swissa) and his manager experienced a tense aviation incident Tuesday while traveling to a performance in Mykonos, Greece. The passenger flight encountered a serious technical malfunction with its front landing gear, leading to hours of uncertainty in the air.

According to reports, the aircraft aborted its planned landing in Mykonos at the last moment and circled in the air for approximately six hours, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., before being forced to execute an emergency landing at Athens airport. Fire trucks and ambulances waited on the runway in full readiness for the potentially dangerous landing.

After the hours-long ordeal, all passengers were safely evacuated in Athens. Skazi is now awaiting information about a connecting flight to reach his scheduled performance in Mykonos, where he is expected to take the stage as part of his summer tour.

Skazi is considered one of Israel's most successful artists in the global electronic music scene, known for his high-energy performances worldwide. In the past year, he collaborated with Iranian artists in a surprising move that generated significant attention, and also faced the cancellation of his performance at Belgium's Tomorrowland festival amid political pressure.

Similar aviation incidents involving emergency landings are not entirely uncommon. Past cases have included an aircraft that made an emergency landing in Bermuda due to a pungent odor from a cargo of pigs, and an El Al plane that landed in Turkey following a medical emergency.
