Yaakov Bardugo says Yisrael Beiteinu leader's appointment of Rafi Ben Shitreet to second spot on party list signals focus on commission of inquiry

Channel 14 political commentator Yaakov Bardugo has issued a warning to right-wing parties about Avigdor Liberman's electoral strategy.

Speaking on the channel as the deadline for finalizing Knesset candidate lists approached, Bardugo analyzed Liberman's recent moves and their implications for the upcoming campaign. Addressing Liberman's stance toward Gadi Eisenkot, head of the Yesh! party, Bardugo stated: "He knows that Eisenkot is not ready, but also not worthy of being the left's candidate for prime minister."

Bardugo then turned his attention to a surprising placement on Yisrael Beiteinu's party list and what it reveals about campaign plans. "Yesterday Liberman signaled his path for the election campaign when he placed Rafi Ben Shitreet as number 2," Bardugo explained. "This means his election campaign will focus primarily on a commission of inquiry, and the right needs to take this statement seriously."
