The Noam party, led by Knesset member Avi Maoz, announced Sunday that it is expanding its parliamentary slate ahead of upcoming elections. The religious-Zionist faction has added two women to its list: Yiskah Haimov and Liora Alon.
Haimov, a resident of Sha'arei Tikva in the West Bank, is married, a mother of three, and a grandmother. She is the sister of David Zini, director of Israel's Shin Bet internal security service. The party described her as a business and organizational consultant, personal coach, entrepreneur, and educator with over three decades of experience in education, management, and business. Her previous roles include serving as director of the religious community settlements of Einav and Shavei Shomron, chairwoman of the settlement Kiryat Netafim, head of the Samaria secretaries' forum, and principal of the boarding school at Mikve Israel agricultural school. She currently owns and operates "The Diamond – Business Polishing," a school and club for business owners. Haimov holds a master's degree in organizational consulting.
Alon is married to Aviram and a mother of nine. She comes from a family that immigrated from France, choosing Israel out of deep faith in the land and people. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and education and a master's degree in educational systems management. Over the years, she has worked as a special education teacher, director of a school network, and advisor to the mayor of Jerusalem. She is currently active in social and public work, driven by what the party described as a sense of mission, love for the Jewish people, and belief in values-based action.
The additions follow Noam's recent recruitment of reserve Brigadier General Eliyahu Liebman, former head of the Kiryat Arba-Hebron council, and Shimon Tubul, deputy mayor of Be'er Sheva.
