Passengers at Jerusalem's Yitzhak Navon Railway Station experienced moments of alarm Thursday morning when smoke was spotted inside the facility. Passengers were urgently evacuated from the station as firefighters from the Uma district stations were dispatched to search the premises.
According to initial reports, the smoke was discovered during early morning hours by passengers waiting for trains. Security personnel acted swiftly to evacuate everyone from the station while maintaining order and preventing panic among those present.
