Key Targets Destroyed:
* The Missile Fleet: High-value missile ships, auxiliary vessels, and patrol boats. Notably, the targeted missile ships housed advanced air defense systems and anti-submarine weaponry.
* Naval Command Center: The central headquarters from which the Iranian Navy managed its daily operations across the Caspian Sea.
* Maintenance Hub: A critical infrastructure site used for the ongoing repair and upkeep of the Caspian fleet, effectively crippling Iran's ability to restore its maritime strength in the region.
The IDF reported that the Iranian Navy utilized this port for active operational activity, which has now been neutralized. The strike not only destroyed physical ships but also dismantled the logistical backbone of the regime's northern maritime presence.
"This is one of the most significant strikes by the IDF since the start of 'Operation Roaring Lion,'" the military stated. The mission was managed in close real-time cooperation between Air Force and Naval commanders operating from the IAF’s underground command center (the "Pit").
By targeting these assets, the IDF has significantly degraded the Iranian regime's control over the Caspian maritime space. "The IDF will continue to deepen the damage to the core systems and foundations of the Iranian terror regime," a military spokesperson concluded.
