A joint operation by Israeli security forces early this morning resulted in the elimination of three terrorists from Judea and Samaria who were reportedly planning an imminent attack.
The successful raid was spearheaded by the Yamam (Israel’s National Counter-Terrorism Unit) in the village of Qud, located near Jenin in the northern Judea and Samaria. The operation targeted a rebuilt terrorist infrastructure in the area.
Operation Details: From Underground to Aerial Strike
The operation was executed with precision, leveraging intelligence gathered by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency). The three terrorists were observed emerging from a concealed underground hideout.
The Yamam unit engaged the cell with immediate and decisive action:
The terrorists were taken out by sniper fire as they left the subterranean structure. Following their neutralization, the underground hideout, believed to be part of a larger network, was struck from the air to ensure its complete destruction.
The elimination of the cell thwarts what Israeli security officials confirm was a planned "serious terrorist attack."
