The Information Office of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates has confirmed that three Indian nationals were injured during a targeted drone strike by Iran on an oil industrial complex. The attack, which involved at least one unmanned aerial vehicle, caused a significant fire at the site and required immediate intervention from emergency services. The injured workers are reported to be in moderate condition, but the incident highlights the growing physical danger to civilians and foreign laborers who are caught in the middle of the escalating war.

This strike on Fujairah’s industrial zone is seen as a strategic move by Tehran to disrupt the energy infrastructure of the Emirates, which has been a key partner in regional security efforts. By targeting oil facilities, Iran aims to exert economic pressure and prove that it can still strike critical assets despite the heavy presence of U.S. and allied air defenses. The injury of foreign workers also adds an international dimension to the war, as neutral countries like India now see their citizens harmed by Iranian military action.

Local authorities in Fujairah have stepped up security protocols at all industrial and energy sites following the attack. The drone strike occurred nearly simultaneously with a missile barrage directed toward Dubai, suggesting a coordinated effort by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to overwhelm the UAE's defensive capabilities. As the war spills further into civilian and commercial sectors, the "humanitarian" gestures mentioned by international leaders are being overshadowed by the smoke and fire of direct combat in the heart of the Gulf’s economic centers.
