'Trash, Not Wanted': Gal Gadot Forced To Film Under Heavy Police Guard
Israeli actress Gal Gadot continues filming 'The Runner' in London under heavy police security following disruptions by pro-Palestinian protesters at the production set.

Israeli actress Gal Gadot has resumed filming her new movie,The Runner, in London under heightened security measures, including a heavy presence from the Metropolitan Police, following months of repeated disruption by pro-Palestinian activists.
The production of the action thriller was previously plagued by repeated protests due to Gadot’s vocal support for Israel during the ongoing conflict in Gaza and her past service in the IDF. The protests, which had already caused significant delays, forced the production to move locations and operate in secrecy.
The Daily Mail published images this morning showing a substantial Metropolitan Police presence, including uniformed officers and vans, at a secret East London location, reportedly moved from an original Camden site to deter further demonstrations. The increased security comes after the film crew faced more than 20 days of disruption, with production officials reportedly seeking stronger police intervention.
Despite the secrecy, activists managed to locate the new set in the Canary Wharf area, continuing their protests. One pro-Palestinian demonstrator reportedly circulated details of the filming online, writing:
"No to IDF soldiers in our city, no to normalizing war criminals! Free Palestine."
Protesters were photographed holding signs with explicit messages aimed at the Israeli actress, including:
"Gal Gadot is trash, not wanted in London" and "Stop the starvation in Gaza." The demonstrators accuse Gadot of "normalizing war crimes" due to her national loyalty and public stance.
The images from the set showed a visibly determined Gadot filming a dramatic scene where she is beaten and thrown from an ambulance. In other photos, she appeared to be in good spirits, smiling and laughing with crew members between takes, despite appearing sweaty and "bloody" as part of the scene. The actress recently returned to the set, having previously been photographed using crutches due to a reported injury.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed the increased intervention.
"Protesters have repeatedly disrupted filming at locations across London, leading to five arrests for various offenses including harassment," the spokesperson stated. "While we recognize the right to peaceful protest, we have a duty to intervene when this crosses the line. Officers have been deployed to locations as required to ensure the safety of all those involved in the filming and those protesting lawfully."
