Swing into your group chats, True Believers, the first teaser clips from Spider-Man: Brand New Day just hit the internet and they are chef’s kiss levels of moody.
We see Peter Parker web-slinging through a stormy New York night with some shadowy mystery figure literally riding piggyback on his shoulders (talk about awkward commute), then stumbling through creepy rundown corridors looking properly haunted, and finally yanking on that classic mask amid a maze of scaffolding like he’s one bad day away from calling it quits.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi vibes incoming), the film picks up years after No Way Home’s big memory wipe. Peter’s broke, anonymous, and still out there protecting the city, because even when life kicks you in the spidey-sense, you keep swinging.
