Why Their US Visa Was Revoked

Kneecap’s history of Anti-Semitic hate and terror support must not be ignored

Northern Irish rap trio Kneecap have repeatedly spread anti-Semitic hate, glorified terrorist organizations, and incited violence, all while masquerading as "activists." Their US visa revocation is a vital step in holding extremists accountable and rejecting the dangerous anti-Israel trend infecting the entertainment world.

The rap trio Kneecap, already notorious for their vile comments and open support of terrorist organizations, are finally facing consequences after their work visas for the United States were reportedly revoked. Their recent actions, including explicit displays of support for Hamas and Hezbollah, both recognized as proscribed terrorist organizations, have exposed the true, dangerous nature behind their so-called "activism."

At a November 2023 gig, footage surfaced showing a Kneecap member shouting "Up Hamas, up Hezbollah" while a Hezbollah flag waved on stage. Even more horrifyingly, another video shows a member calling for the death of Conservative MPs, proclaiming "The only good Tory is a dead Tory. Kill your local MP." These statements are not political commentary, they are open incitement to violence and terrorism, plain and simple.

Kneecap's antics reached a fever pitch at Coachella 2025, where they hijacked their performance to display slogans like "F*** Israel, Free Palestine" and accused Israel and the United States of committing "genocide." This grotesque distortion of the realities in Gaza echoes centuries-old antisemitic tropes, painting Jews and Israel as bloodthirsty villains while openly supporting terrorist groups responsible for targeting civilians.

In a deeply concerning trend, Kneecap’s behaviour is being cheered on by a growing crowd of celebrities and influencers eager to jump on the anti-Israel bandwagon. Cloaking antisemitism in the language of “human rights” has become fashionable, but no amount of PR spin can hide the fact that chanting support for Hamas, a group whose founding charter calls for the destruction of Jews worldwide, is an endorsement of terrorism and hatred.

The US decision to strip Kneecap of their visas is a much-needed step in holding artists accountable when they cross the line from political speech into open bigotry and incitement. Free speech has limits, and advocating for terrorism and spreading anti-Semitic blood libels should never be protected under the guise of "activism." It’s time for the music industry, and society at large, to stop giving platforms to extremists like Kneecap who glorify violence and demonize the Jewish people.
