A 60-year-old man was evacuated this Sunday afternoon to Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv in moderate condition, suffering from shrapnel wounds to his head. The injury occurred following an Iranian missile launch directed at central Israel shortly before.

Current assessments suggest that the projectile was once again a "split-warhead" missile (cluster or MIRV-type), which divides into multiple munitions that impact several locations simultaneously. One of these strikes directly hit the upper floor of a four-story residential building in the heart of Bnei Brak.

MDA Emergency Medic Moshe Weinman reported from the scene: "We arrived at an impact site with significant structural damage. There was shattered glass on the ground, smoke, and a great deal of commotion. We treated one patient in moderate condition, a man about 60 years old with glass shrapnel wounds. We are operating with large forces at the scene and continuing searches to ensure there are no other victims."

MDA Emergency Medic David Gross added: "There was destruction across two floors. Upon arrival, we called out for anyone injured who could walk to come out, while simultaneously beginning rescue operations for residents trapped in the building. We conducted medical checks on the casualties and are continuing extensive searches in the impact areas."

Hundreds of curious onlookers are also at the scene.
