In a shocking case of hate speech infiltrating the medical profession, British authorities have suspended Dr. Rahma Al-Adwan, a 31-year-old surgeon and trauma specialist, from her duties for 15 months amid an ongoing investigation into her inflammatory online posts, as reported by Ynet.

The doctor, employed by the UK's National Health Service (NHS), allegedly spewed antisemitic vitriol, endorsed Hamas terrorism, and denied the Holocaust, prompting outrage and over 200 complaints from the public and Jewish organizations.

Al-Adwan, an orthopedic trainee, faces scrutiny from the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service after her social media activity raised serious concerns about her fitness to practice medicine. According to reports, she posted a barrage of hateful content on X (formerly Twitter), branding Israelis as "worse than Nazis" and glorifying the October 7 massacre as a day when Israel was "humiliated."

Ynet explained that she hailed Hamas attackers as "oppressed resistance fighters, not terrorists" and "martyred saints," refusing to condemn the group or the atrocities. In one chilling post, Al-Adwan declared: "I would join the Palestinian armed resistance right now."

She also targeted Britain's Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis, calling him a "genocidal murderer," and dismissed media coverage of a Yom Kippur synagogue attack in Manchester, where two Jews were killed. as evidence of "Jewish supremacy." "

Apparently, the lives of four Jews in Manchester matter more than 53 Muslims in Gaza," she wrote. "This is racism and Jewish supremacy. This is Western civilization."Her rhetoric didn't stop there. Al-Adwan labeled the Holocaust a "fabricated victim narrative," equated Zionism with Nazism, and described the Jewish people as "the most despicable people" on Earth.

These posts, which surfaced amid heightened tensions, have ignited a firestorm, with the General Medical Council (GMC) referring the matter to tribunal after receiving a deluge of complaints, as reported by the Jewish Chronicle.

The suspension bars Al-Adwan from practicing while the probe continues, highlighting the NHS's zero-tolerance policy for discrimination. Jewish groups in the UK have welcomed the action, calling it a crucial step against rising antisemitism in professional spheres.

Her Instagram account, which no doubt contained more of her violent rhetoric, has now been deleted.
