Extremist Haredim call police "Nazis" in protesting draft | WATCH

Extremist Haredim started an illegal protest on Road 4 against the draft. Police have begun to disperse it.

The Israel Police have declared a protest on Road 4, started today (Thursday) by extremist Charedim against the draft, to be illegal and have begun making efforts to disperse it.

The Israel Police released the following statement regarding the protest:

"At this time, an illegal demonstration is taking place on Highway 4, near the entrance to Bnei Brak. The disrupters of order have begun making hateful calls toward the police such as 'Nazis' while blocking the highway and blocking vehicles.

"A police commander declared the demonstration illegal before taking action and using measures.

"Israel Police officers are on site and are diverting traffic to alternative routes while extracting vehicles.

"We recommend that the public travel on alternative routes and stay updated at all times.
