El Al Cancels Flights Until June 23, Plans Phased Evacuation Flights for Stranded Israelis

In light of the evolving security situation and per the State’s decision, El Al and Sun D’Or’s regular flight schedule is canceled until Monday, June 23, 2025 (inclusive).

However, following the Transportation Ministry’s guidelines, we are preparing to operate evacuation flights from several El Al destinations to Israel under a limited and phased framework, in coordination with relevant security and aviation authorities.

El Al is opening registration for evacuation flights for El Al customers whose flights were canceled in recent days. We emphasize that the order of registration on the website is not significant.

At this time, El Al is finalizing the list of destinations and the scope of flights that can be operated under this framework. We will continue to provide updates on the El Al website and the company’s social media pages.

At this stage, El Al is opening registration for flights for El Al and Sun D’Or customers whose flights to Israel were canceled since the closure of Israel’s airspace and who are currently abroad.

The purpose of the registration is to map the locations of our customers worldwide and accordingly build a flight schedule. We emphasize that the order of registration on the website is not significant. Customer priority will be determined based on the original date of their flight.

Additionally, priority will be given to exceptional humanitarian cases, subject to the presentation of appropriate documentation and approval by El Al’s medical team, as well as to state and security needs, subject to approval by relevant state authorities.

How will the registration process for evacuation flights back to Israel work?

We understand the difficulty, uncertainty, and stress experienced by El Al customers abroad who wish to return to Israel, as well as those whose plans have been disrupted. The evacuation flights will be operated in a phased manner, and therefore patience will be required from El Al customers abroad. We recommend preparing arrangements for accommodation and lodging. Customers may keep receipts, and their eligibility for reimbursement will be reviewed in accordance with legal regulations.
