Hamas is warning Gazans not to "spread rumors" about the IDF strike in Khan Yunis earlier today (Tuesday), which targeted Mohammad Sinwar, Hamas' military leader in the Gaza Strip, according to N12 News.

Hamas claimed that Israeli intelligence uses such rumors and chatter for future intelligence gathering and for targeting other Hamas senior leaders.

Israeli security sources said that if Mohammad Sinwar was at the targeted site, he is likely dead, but thus far there has been no clear confirmation from either Hamas or from Israeli sources.

Palestinian sources said that there are presently six people confirmed dead in the strike, with a number of additional people missing.
