WATCH: Shocking New Footage of Elkana Bohbot and Yosef Haim Ohana

This is the first footage of Bohbot and Ohana together since a previous video a month and a half ago, following several clips featuring Bohbot alone.

Hamas released a new video on Saturday showing Israeli hostages Elkana Bohbot and Yosef Haim Ohana, who have been held in Gaza for 582 days since their abduction from the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023.

Israeli authorities estimate that 59 hostages remain in captivity, with at least 21 believed to be alive. Of those, 24 are officially listed as living, though there are grave concerns for the survival of three.

The Hostages’ Families Forum has requested that the video, or any parts of it, only be published with the families’ consent.

The families consented to the video being published recently.

The latest release is seen as part of Hamas’s ongoing psychological warfare, with previous statements by the hostages likely coerced by their captors.

Bohbot, 36, from Mevaseret Zion, was part of the Nova festival’s production team and assisted in evacuating the wounded during the attack. He is married to Rebecca and has a 4-year-old son. Ohana, 24, from Kiryat Malachi, worked as a bartender and helped treat and transfer the injured during the massacre. Known for his love of books and aspirations to become a life coach, Ohana is deeply cherished by friends, one of whom tattooed his face in solidarity.

In a video released on March 24, after 535 days in captivity, Bohbot called for an end to government censorship and urged former hostage Ohad Ben Ami, who was held with them, to speak out about their ordeal. More recent footage from three weeks ago showed Bohbot addressing his family, expressing longing for his wife and son, and appealing for help from his American-citizen brother and even U.S. President Donald Trump.

On March 29, another distressing video showed Bohbot in tears, pleading for release and describing his personal anguish. “I asked to make these videos. Hamas didn’t tell me to make them,” he said, kneeling in despair with an image of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the background. “The real psychological warfare is me with myself, waking up every morning without my son, without my wife.”
