Palestinian Islamic Jihad claims it fired five rockets at Israel a short time ago today (Tuesday), in response to Israel's attempt to eliminate the terrorist group's military leader, Mohammad Sinwar.
In its official statement, PIJ announced that it bombarded "Ashdod, Ashkelon, Sderot, and the settlements of the Gaza Perimeter" with rocket barrages in response to the Zionist "massacre" in Khan Yunis.
Two rockets were launched at Sderot and one at Ashkelon, according to the IDF. Two were intercepted by Iron Dome, and another fell in an open area. No casualties or physical damage were reported.
