Six injured, three critically, in stabbing attack in Hamburg
The police announced a "major operation" in Hamburg following a stabbing attack that wounded six people. The suspect, a 39-year old woman, is in custody.

A terrorist stabbed six people - three seriously and three critically - today (Friday) in Hamburg, according to DW.
The attack took place during the train system's rush hour, its most intense period of activity. Some of the wounded were treated on board the trains.
The suspect, a 39-year-old woman, is being detained and the police said on X that "based on the findings so far, we assume that she acted alone. Investigations into the background are in full swing."
According to DW, this is the third such stabbing this week, a stark reminder to the German government, facing a surge in the far right party AfD, that time is running out to deal with the problem of migrants in Germany.
