A War of Attrition

The "Every Few Days" Threat: Hezbollah’s New Plan to Terrorize Israel with Routine Barrages

Hezbollah has decided to launch major rocket barrages every few days to exhaust the Israeli public, leading the IDF to issue strict new bomb shelter guidelines.

Israeli military intelligence has identified a shift in Hezbollah’s strategy, as the terrorist organization moves toward a "repetitive" model of warfare designed to exhaust and terrorize the civilian population. According to assessments, Hezbollah plans to launch large-scale rocket barrages every few days rather than in one continuous push. In response to this evolving threat, the IDF has announced a significant change in safety protocols for citizens. The Home Front Command is now instructing the public that in the event of a Hezbollah barrage, the previous "10-minute rule" for staying in bomb shelters is no longer sufficient; residents must now wait for an explicit "all-clear" message before exiting.

Crushing the Launchers

While Hezbollah attempts to establish a rhythm of terror, the Israeli Air Force is working around the clock to break it. A senior security official revealed today that more than 250 Hezbollah launchers have been destroyed across Lebanon since the beginning of the week. These operations are based on precise intelligence from the Intelligence Directorate, allowing the IDF to strike launch teams before they can fire. Despite these successes, the military warns that the threat is far from over. "We will respond with power to any threat," stated IDF Spokesperson Brigadier General Effie Defrin, noting that the military is prepared to strike targets in real-time as they are identified by intelligence assets.

Protecting the Home Front

The new safety guidelines reflect the "high alertness" currently felt across the country. Because Hezbollah is attempting to create a "consciousness of achievement" by causing panic in the Israeli rear, the IDF has chosen a strategy of total transparency, updating the public on threats before rumors can spread. This afternoon, residents in the north were warned of a potential "powerful and wide" attack expected around 19:00. While the primary focus remains on the Galilee and the Golan, the IDF is not ruling out launches toward central Israel. The message to the public is clear: stay vigilant, stay near shelters, and do not assume the danger has passed just because the sirens have stopped.
