14 Year Old Boy Killed After Shocking Car Accident on Highway 65
Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) declared the death of the teenager at the scene after he was trapped in the wreckage with severe multi-system injuries.
A devastating road accident on Highway 65 near the Mei Ami junction left a 14-year-old boy dead and a 30-year-old man seriously injured early Thursday morning, Israeli authorities reported.
The crash, which occurred around 2 a.m. between a private vehicle and a truck, prompted an immediate response from emergency services.
MDA paramedics Chaim Elgarbli, Wal Khatib, and Yosef Friedman described the scene: “The private vehicle was crushed with significant damage, and inside it, a young man was trapped unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, suffering bodily injuries. During the complex rescue operations by firefighters, we conducted medical checks, but regrettably, his injuries were extremely severe, and we had no choice but to pronounce him dead on site.”
The 30-year-old man, who sustained head and limb injuries, was treated at the scene and evacuated to Emek Hospital in unstable condition. The truck driver was lightly injured and also transported to the hospital.
Israel Police stated that traffic accident investigators from the Menashe district have opened an inquiry into the circumstances of the fatal collision. Officers from the Peham station, along with investigators, arrived at the site to examine the incident.
