"Do You Want Trouble?"
Hostage Survivor vs. Pop Star: The Full Transcript of Rom Braslavski’s Clash with Nasrin
Leaked recordings have captured a high stakes argument between singer Nasrin Kadri and freed hostage Rom Braslavski following an alleged physical assault by her partner outside a Tel Aviv club.

A major scandal has erupted in the Israeli entertainment world following a violent incident outside the Hive club in Tel Aviv, involving the partner of famous singer Nasrin Kadri and freed hostage Rom Braslavski. Braslavski, who survived captivity after being kidnapped by terrorists on October 7, alleges that he was physically assaulted by David Ziton, Kadri’s partner, after being denied entry to the venue. The situation intensified on Monday evening when a recording of a private phone call between Kadri and Braslavski was leaked, revealing a conversation that swung between emotional apologies and veiled threats. While Ziton has been released to house office and claims self defense, the public reaction to the treatment of a returning hostage has forced Kadri to issue a formal apology for her conduct during the call.
The Leaked Recording and the "Trouble"
The phone call began with Nasrin Kadri attempting to apologize for the incident, which occurred late Saturday night. "I heard what happened, wow, I am so sorry, you don’t understand," she told Braslavski, explaining she had left the club shortly before the altercation. However, the tone quickly shifted as Braslavski accused her of witnessing the security refusal and allowing her partner to attack him. "Your friend took me down and shouted at me: 'Just because you were kidnapped doesn't mean you can talk however you want.' He threw a punch at my face," Braslavski told her, emphasizing the gravity of hitting a survivor who returned from captivity.
As the conversation progressed, Kadri became more defensive, eventually telling Braslavski, "If you want to make trouble, I will make trouble and we will all make trouble, and we won't get out of it." She pleaded with him to consider her career and her children, asking, "If your sister and mother were in such a situation where you now want to ruin my life and career, I have no problem." Later in the call, she challenged him again, saying, "You want trouble? Let’s go, come on, let’s go with the mess. Do you want a mess? Haven't you had enough of what happened in your life?" Braslavski remained firm, telling her that his "energy wasn't being wasted" and that Ziton should "prepare his hands for handcuffs" because he was going to prison.
Legal Proceedings and Public Apology
The incident was triggered when Braslavski and his friend Moshe were reportedly denied entry to a party at the club. According to police, a verbal argument escalated into a physical fight involving several people. Security footage presented in court by the prosecution reportedly shows Ziton kicking Braslavski’s friend while the man was already lying on the ground, a detail the judge noted contradicts a claim of self defense. Despite this, the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court released Ziton to house arrest until Friday, citing his lack of a criminal record, though the judge criticized the police for not advancing the investigation more quickly given the sensitivity of the case.
Following the backlash from the leaked recording, Kadri took to Instagram to issue a heartfelt apology. "Before everything, I’m sorry. This shouldn't have happened with anyone, certainly not with Rom," she wrote. She expressed deep regret for not being there to prevent the escalation and acknowledged the immense suffering Braslavski has endured over the past two years. "The suffering Rom went through is greater than what one person should face in a lifetime," she added, promising to do whatever she could to contribute to his healing. Meanwhile, Braslavski continues to recover from facial injuries and has vowed that the legal process will ensure his attacker faces the consequences.
