Tunnels Collapsing, Terror Crumbles
Trapped Hamas Terrorists Emerge from Rafah Tunnels - and Are Eliminated Within Seconds | WATCH
In a high-stakes confrontation east of Rafah, Nahal Brigade troops spotted five Hamas terrorists surfacing from the collapsing tunnel system and moving toward IDF forces, prompting an immediate airstrike that wiped out the squad.

Nahal Brigade troops spotted five terrorists emerging from underground terror infrastructure east of Rafah, beyond the Yellow Line, as they moved toward IDF forces in southern Gaza and posed an immediate threat. Israeli Air Force jets struck and killed the squad instantly, further shrinking what remains of the Hamas terror pocket in the Rafah tunnel zone, now assessed by Israel to be far below the original 200 terrorists.
According to the IDF, the cell was eliminated near the Jenina neighborhood, the same area where a tightly contained group of terrorists has been trapped inside the extensive tunnel system. Over recent weeks, IDF forces have been destroying tunnels, drilling underground, and steadily tightening the encirclement, forcing them to surface.
The terrorists who emerged attempted to flee, running bent over in an effort to escape. Two IDF brigades continue to hold and sweep the area as operations to dismantle the remaining underground network intensify.
Open Source Intel reported:
Estimates indicate that around 80 remain trapped in the tunnel, relying on mediators to secure a “safe passage.” However, Israeli political leaders are currently waiting and publicly state that no decision has been made. The Chief of Staff has ordered: either they surrender with their hands raised, or they will be killed.
