Escalation in the North: IDF Warns Lebanese Civilians Not to Return Home
As the Israel-Lebanon Ceasefire Agreement teeters on the brink of collapse, the IDF's Arabic spokesperson issues an urgent warning to Southern Lebanese residents; meanwhile, Hezbollah violated the agreement during Israel's national holidays.

The IDF issued a stern warning to Lebanese civilians on Wednesday, cautioning them against returning to their villages in the southern part of the country.IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee, clarified that anyone moving south toward the border is putting their life at risk, as the area remains an active and dangerous military zone.
This warning comes amid a significant escalation in tensions and growing concerns over the stability of the current ceasefire. Israeli security officials emphasized that the IDF remains deployed in the region to ensure that no armed presence returns to the border area, and they will take all necessary measures to protect Israeli sovereignty.
Despite the international efforts to maintain the calm, Hezbollah has repeatedly challenged the agreement. Reports indicate that the terror organization has violated the ceasefire more than five times in recent days, specifically targeting the period of Israel's Memorial Day and 78th Independence Day. While Hezbollah’s provocations continue, Israel has so far exercised restraint, refraining from a major military response in order to give diplomacy a final chance, though officials warn that this patience is not limitless.
