Iran is increasing its efforts to recruit Israeli youth to act as spies and saboteurs within Israel itself, according to a Shin Bet report reported on by Kann News today (Tuesday).

According to the Shin Bet, Iran, which has greatly increased its efforts to recruit Israelis to commit acts of espionage, vandalism, and even possible assassinations since October 7, is now targeting Israeli youth via popular social media apps, especially Telegram.

The Shin Bet said that they fear some Iranian recruited agents have still not been caught, and they hope the publication of known agents will help deter any actual espionage or worse, as well as the heavy jail sentence that comes with acting on behalf of an enemy country.
