Ireland: Purchasing Judea and Samaria goods to become a crime

The government of Ireland unveiled the new law proposal today, which is largely symbolic.

The government of Ireland unveiled a new law proposal today (Monday) which would criminalize purchasing products from Judea and Samaria.

The law is largely symbolic, as only a small handful of agricultural products such as dates, oranges, and olives.

Ireland has increasingly taken a very hostile stance towards Israel, including joining South Africa's "genocide" case against Israel in the Hague, unilaterally recognizing a Palestinian state, and generally siding against Israel in the war.

Things reached the point that Israel ended its official presence in the country and left its embassy.
