Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel addressed international leaders, diplomats, and parliamentarians at the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast.

The annual event, broadcast live to millions worldwide, remains a key gathering for Israel’s global allies. The movement was founded by former MK Robert Ilatov in cooperation with former US Congresswoman and presidential candidate Michele Bachmann.

Speaking on Israel's ongoing multi-front war, Haskel framed the conflict as a direct defense of Western democratic values. Drawing on her background as a former Border Guard combat commander, she emphasized that the nation's survival relies on both military strength and a deep-rooted spirit of renewal.

"This is a timeless, civilizational struggle between those who sanctify life and those who worship death," Haskel stated. "With one hand, we hold the weapon to defend our people. With the other hand, we hold a builder’s tool to rebuild our nation. Our secret ingredient is love and faith. That is how we win."
