Jerusalem Man Indicted for Terror Stabbing at Kibbutz Tzuba Hotel
Mohammed Hassan charged with terrorism after stabbing attack at Kibbutz Tzuba Hotel dining hall that injured two people. Suspect detained after civilian intervention.

The Jerusalem District Attorney’s Office filed a severe indictment on Monday against Mohammed Hassan, 42, charging the Jerusalem resident with carrying out a terrorist stabbing attack two weeks ago at the communal dining hall of Kibbutz Tzubaa Hotel.
The prosecution requested that Hassan remain in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings, citing the nationalistic motivations behind the attack.
According to the indictment, Hassan entered the Kibbutz Tzuba Hotel mess hall, where approximately 200 people were gathered, grabbed a knife from the kitchen, and stabbed two individuals with the intent to kill.
One victim was gravely injured, requiring several surgeries and an extended hospitalization. The second victim also sustained injuries from a stab wound to the chest. The indictment credits a man working at a local hotel with intervening, overpowering Hassan, tackling him to the ground, and detaining him until a police officer arrived.
"The defendant turned a site of pleasant familial gatherings into a terrorist scene when he tried to kill innocent bystanders based solely on their political identity," stated Jerusalem District Attorney Shai Etzion, underscoring the severity and ideological basis of the charges.
